Matteo Lovisa is one of the strongest candidates for the role of sports director of Spezia. The Friulian director, currently at Juve Stabia, is indeed among the profiles appreciated by the white management to guide the sports area in the new season. Born in 1996, just thirty years old, Lovisa has made a name for himself in recent years for the work done before Pordenone and subsequently at Juve Stabia, obtaining two promotions in Serie B as sports director. According to what has been collected, in recent days there have been direct contacts between President Charlie Stillitano and Lovisa himself. The Juve Stabia director is not the only candidate evaluated by the club of via Melara, but his name is well received. Lovisa also has an opening towards the destination of Spezia. Spezia would indeed be the only society retroceded in Serie C that the director would take concretely into consideration for his future professional, despite the interest expressed by several clubs of Serie A and Serie B. The eventual arrival in the Gulf of Poets would however be linked to some precise guarantees on the technical project, market strategies and future prospects of the society. Now the final decision is up to the ownership. Charlie Stillitano has indeed returned to the United States, where in the next few hours he will make a point of the situation with the owner Thomas Roberts. From this confrontation, the definitive indications for the choice of the new sports director should arrive, whose appointment is expected by the next weekend.
